Nenad Janković has completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. Mirko Isaeski and he is the founder of the brass trio and wind quintet of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the founders of the chamber ensemble Balkan Academy and solo bassoonist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra.

He regularly performs as a member of the Chamber Opera Orchestra Madlenianum, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, New Symphony Orchestra “MAKRIS”, and New Belgrade Opera. Since 2010, he is the solo bassoonist of the Maribor Festival Orchestra, and in 2011 he performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra on their European tour. As a soloist he has performed with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Army of Serbia, Belgrade Strings, Strings of St. George, the Symphony Orchestra of Southeast Europe and Chamber Orchestra YES -Youth European Strings.

He has won several first prizes at republic and federal competitions, first prize at the international competition in Stresa (Italy), October Award of the City of Belgrade in 1995, as well as awards from Faculty of music fund Bruno Brun for the most successful completion of doctoral studies in the 2013-2014.  He attended master classes with prof. Knut Sönstevold (Sweden), Milan Turković (Austria) and Mauricio Paez (Israel).
