GUARNERIUS, Art Centre founded by Maestro Jovan Kolundžija, is declared Cultural Institution of National Importance, by the Government of the Republic of Serbia

Art Centre GUARNERIUS was founded in 1996. by the world-wide famous Serbian artists, violinist Maestro Jovan Kolundžija, as the first private cultural institution in our country. Centre was opened for public on October 2^nd 2001, after five years of massive reconstruction and redecoration, that brought life, initial splendor and luxurious beauty to the heavily ruined venue dated in 1924.

MAESTRO KOLUNDŽIJA WINNER OF THE PRESTIGIOUS VUK AWARD

Cultural and Educational Association of Serbia has given the "Vuk award" for outstanding results achieved in creative work and spreading out culture, education and science in the country and in the Serbian cultural field.

VUK award, one of the most prestigious Serbian prize in the field of culture and science, was awarded to Jovan Kolundžija for all the achievements in 2014.

Cycle FACULTY OF MUSIC AND GUARNERIUS AWARDING was initiated in 2012. by the Faculty of Music, Belgrade and Guarnerius Art Centre, with a goal to promote our young musicians in focus, to contribute to their affirmation and to give them the chance of presenting their talent and achievements to the audience.

JOVAN KOLUNDŽIJA MANAGER OF THE YEAR IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE

Our famous violinist and the founder of the Guarnerius Centre, received the prestigious recognition – MANAGER OF THE YEAR IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE, the award given by the Association of the economy journalists of Serbia, as the part of the traditional program „Companies and people of the year“

In the statement of the Association, it is said that „following the suggestion of the journalists specialized for culture, the jury of the Association of the economy journalists of Serbia, appreciating the long-year, highly successful carrier of Maestro Jovan Kolundžija, and his dedication to working with young talents, is giving him the award for the Manager of the year in the filed of culture.“
