Jovana Stosic was born in Ćuprija on 1992. Violin started playing at the age of six, and elementary and secondary education has completed at the School for Music Talents in Cuprija. Primary and master academic studies finished at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Currently, a student of specialist studies and an associate of teaching violin at the Music Academy in Belgrade.

Jovana has won numerous prizes and awards: Award of the Royal House of Karadjordjevic for the best student of generation (2007/2008.), The award for the best final exam from school for talents (2007/2008.), The winner of the Austrian scholarship for summer training in Austria at the festival ” Internationale Sommerakademie Prague-Vienna-Budapest “(2009), as well as awards from the foundation” Merima Dragutinović ” for the best graduate student of violin (2012/2013.). She has won first prizes in numerous national and international competitions (International Competition in Nis, Stringfest in Sremska Mitrovica, Republic Competition of Music and Ballet School).

She had outstanding performances both within the class and the Department the Faculty of Music, and numerous solo recitals. She has participated in festivals Mozartine Festival 2007 (Italy), Espressivo Music Festival 2010 (Montenegro), Festival Maribor 2014 (Slovenia).
