Ivan Jarić, cello,   born on 1993, graduated from the Music High School Mokranjac. Currently, he is a student of specialist academic studies of cello at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

He attended master classes with excellent artists and teachers such as Stanislav Apolin, Leonid Gorokhov, Ksenija Janković, Mark Kosover, Anatoly Krastev, Ivan Kucher, Stefan Popov, David Starkveder, Mineo Hayashi, Ralph Henry Kirshbaum, David Strange, Istvan Varga, Tobias Stosiek , Gavriel Lipkind, Denis Shapovalov.

He has received numerous awards and prizes including: first prize at the Republic competition 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008 in the category of cello, as well as first prize in the category of chamber duo 2002; first Prize at the Festival of Music Schools of Serbia in 2004 and 2006, and at the Open School competition of  Music School Lisinski in 2000, 2001 and 2002, and the Special Award 2004; second prize 2001 in cello category and 2005 in chamber duo category; third prize in cello category at the International Competition Petar Konjović 2009 and 2011, as well as the first prize at the International Strings Competition in Niš, 2009. He got the prize from the fund Dragomir Matić as a best cello student of Music High School Mokranjac, 2006 and 2010; He won the city scholarships for talented students and high school students in 2008 and 2010, the award of the Republic Fund for talents, as well as the scholarship from the fund Dositeja for the best student of final year in Serbia.

He has performed as a soloist in concert halls: Belgrade – Kolarac Gallery SANU, Guarnerius, City Hall, National Museum, Fresco Gallery, Ethnographic Museum, Student Cultural Center, Gallery Progres, Russian home in Niš, Bačka Topola, Lazarevac, Zaječar and Sremska Mitrovica. He played as a soloist with the Belgrade Strings and Chamber Orchestra Mokranjac, with whom he performed in Kolarac concert hall and in Vršac Cathedral.

His playing with the Orchestra Mokranjac in Kolarac, is recorded on a CD which was released in the production of the Music School Mokranjac. He has performed at the concert of young talents at the Belgrade International Cello Fest in 2009 and 2010 and at the Festival  Ensemble of David Strange in 2011.

Since September 2011, he performs with  Belgrade Strings Orchestra Dušan Skovran  and held concerts in Belgrade, Paris, Zagreb and Nova Gorica.
