Filip Rakić was born in 1994. in Belgrade. He achieved elementary and secondary music school “Vatroslav Lisinski”, the vocal instrumental section of the trombone and currently is a student of third year of elementary academic studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Aleksandar Benčić.

He has won major awards in numerous national and international competitions: in 2012. and 2014. – Laureate of the International Competition “Davorin Jenko”; 2012. – Laureate of the 8. Festival of young talents of Serbia, Sremski Karlovci; 2011. and 2012. – Laureate of the Open Competition “Dušan Protić”; 2011. and 2013. – First prize at the Republic Competition of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia; first trombone of youth Philharmonic orchestra “Borislav Pašćan” since 2009. On 2012. and 2013. first trombone in the European Youth Orchestra (WYO) with conductor Igor Koreti, as well in Interanational Youth Symphony Orchestra Bremen in 2013, with conductor Martin Lentz.

He cooperates with the Opera and Ballet Orchestra of the National Theatre in Belgrade, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of RTS. He attended classes with renowned trombonists Branimir Slokar, Maria Šincek, Zoltan Kiš and Dušan Kranjc. As a member of chamber orchestras and as a soloist he has played in all the major halls and cultural centers in Serbia (Philharmonic Hall Belgrade, Novi Sad Synagogue, Kolarac Hall, National Theatre, Student Cultural Centre, Serbian National Theatre), in Slovenia (Ljubljana Philharmonic Hall), in the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany (Glocke – Bremen Philharmonic Hall).

Miloš Budimirov was born in Pančevo, where he completed elementary and secondary music education at the music school “Jovan Bandur”, trumpet section. Since 2012, Miloš simultaneously started playing the tuba. Currently he is a student of tuba at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under professor Krunoslav Babić. In 2003. he made his debut in the competition “May meetings of brass players” in Novi Sad. He had 15 solo concerts. Five concerts held in the Novi Sad Synagogue as a competition discipline!

As a tuba player, won Laureats in 2012. – International Competition “May meeting of brass players” Lazarevac; 2014. -International Competition “Davorin Jenko” and the International Competition “Petar Konjović”. After auditions in Berlin for “Verbier Festival” – Orchestra (Switzerland), Miloš achieved notable results and became the first replacement for the season 2015.

As an orchestral musician, he performs in the Opera and Ballet Orchestra of the National Theatre in Belgrade; Symphonic Orchestra RTS Belgrade; Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra; Opera and theater Orchestra “Madlenianum”, Zemun; “Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra”; Orchestra “Camerata Serbica” in Belgrade. He is a permanent member of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra “Borislav Pašćan” from Belgrade. He has performed with renowned conductors: Zubin Mehta (Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra); Peter Leonard, USA, Germany, (National Theatre); Andreas Peer Kahler, Germany (Deutsch-Skandinavische Orchesterwoche Philharmonie); Marcelo Rota (Camerata Serbica). Miloš is also an active chamber musician. He plays in the “Camerata brass quintet” with whom he accompanied leading trumpet players of today: Francisco Pacho Flores (Venezuela); Luis González Martí (Valenzia, Spain).

He attended several master classes with renowned tuba players: Krunoslav Babić (Croatia); Roland Szentpáli (Hungary), as well as courses of chamber music with Francisco Pacho Flores ; Luis González Martí. He is also active in the ensemble “Violets” where he made new brass section, “Violets” the six-member rock and roll band from Pančevo. After several successful singles they released their first album “Violets & Co.” on 6 June 2014. To this group stands out live performances, they showed excellent concerts during the promotion of the album, as well as at the Exit Festival, at the opening of Barutana, with concert at Mikser House and others.
As band they received following prizes: The winners of the first competition of demo bands “Your Sound” Božidarac for 2011. They have been declared for the most promising young band in 2012 by the votes of the audience of magazine Popboks.
