Antonia Mirat, soprano, was born in 1983 in Split. From an early age showed interest in music and at the age of six she began studying piano with prof. Marija Milina. With 10 years, as an outstanding talent, she begins learning singing in class of Professor Branka Ristić. At age of 14, she wins third prize at the national competition in the category of singers from 18 to 22 years. As a seventeen-year girl wins a special prize for interpretation  at  the International  Mozart Competition in Taranto Rolando Nicolosi. The Italian press declares her as “a child prodigy”.

At 17 years entered the Academy of Music as an outstanding talent. Two years later debuts in the National Theatre in Zagreb in Bat role in the opera by Maurice Ravel’s The Child and the Magic. Same year represents the ex- Yugoslav region in the competition of Hans Gabor Belvedere in Vienna, where her talent noticed the responsible from Milan’s Scala, Luka Target and she receives special recognition from him. At 20 years she enters in final of international competitions Ondina Otta in Maribor, Vero Vision in Zagreb, Belcanto in Rijeka. In that period she won the first prize at the State Competition in Rijeka, and in Zagreb she got her first main role in her career – the Queen of the night in Mozart’s  “Magic Flute”, conducted by maestro Vladimir Kranjčević.

In 2005, at the year of Mozart, she performs for the first time with the Symphony Orchestra the concert arias from Mozart, conducted by maestro Aleksandar Kalajdžić.

On 2005, as the best student of solo singing department of the Music Academy in Zagreb, she won a scholarship to a seminar with maestro Sona Ghazaryan in Vienna.

In 2006, she sings a new main role in Mozart  theater piece – Madam Heart, where she presents herself to the audiance in HNK Varazdin, Zorin Dom in Karlovac and to the audience in London. Same year she was elected to represent Croatia at the World Exhibition of Milka  Trnin in London, where she sings soloist concert which was covered by BBC television.

In 2007.  she graduated in Zagreb at the Academy of Music and received the title of professor. Same year she collaborated with Marcello Rotta.

In 2008,  was nominated for  the State Award Darko Lukic as the best young Croatian opera singer. In the same year she performs her first soloist concert in the Concert Hall Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb. In same year she sings soloist arias from operettas Tijardović Male Floramye and Split Aquarelle at Poljud stadium in front of 16,000 people. Her talent was noticed by famous singer Tereza Kesovija who invited her to sing at her concerts.

In 2009, she achieves her producing and composing debut, with operetta Trogirski akvarel, in which she sang the main role.

In 2010, she debuts in Vienna in role of Queen of the Night from the opera The Magic Flute, conducted by maestro Maximilian Cenčić. That same year, she performed in the famous Vienna City Hall.

In 2011, she enters the finals in competition  of  Montserrat  Caballe in Zaragoza and, as a reward for that concert, she had master classes with  Montserrat  Caballe.

In January 2012, she becomes a member of the Opera Studio of maestro Daniel Fer at the Juilliard university in New York. Bel canto repertoire, she studies with acclaimed Spanish mezzo-soprano Teresa Berganza Vargas in  Madrid and the German Lied repertoire studying with Professor Nicholas Sirs at the Royal College of Music in London. Same year she enters the finals in the prestigious competition Salvatore Papagallo in Bari. In 2013, she received a scholarship for professional studying of Mozart repertoire with Barbara Boni in Salzburg.

In 2013, she sings the role of Lucia di Lammermoor from opera of the same name from Gaetano Donizetti at the opening of the International Film Festival Golden Lion in Umag conducted by maestro Damir Zlatar Frey. Same year the famous American website M comet inscribed her name on the list of world-renowned musicians, and same did the IMDb.  In 2014, she achieved musical collaborations with great music names such as Angelo Bertachi (Milano), Genaro Sica (Florence), Antonella Pianezzola (Verona), Silvia Colombini (Milano) and so on. Also, she is a permanent member of the Opera Studio “Antica Scuola” in Florence of Maestro Genaro Sic. She established cooperation, as a visiting professor, at the Academy in Dubai (Royal Colleges of Music). In 2015, she took a turn in the direction of crossover music and published interpretations of classical compositions in a contemporary way.
